With the new ZD420 series Zebra offers a completely new generation of desktop printers. Monochrome labels and wristbands for industry, trade, logistics and healthcare can be produced quickly and in high print quality. With up to 152 mm per second, you can personalise your labels with text, graphics and barcodes - the resolution can be changed between 203 dpi and 300 dpi ex works or on site.
Ease of use
The Zebra ZD420 desktop printers are particularly versatile: Whether roll or folded, punched or endless labels from 15 mm to 118 mm, tags or wristbands - thanks to the movable media sensor, the most diverse media formats can be printed.
The real strength of the series, which replaces the proven GK420 and GT800 series, lies clearly in its simplicity: the Zebra ZD420 are intuitive to use, easy to manage and easy to integrate. Especially the use of the printer sets standards - the operation is easy thanks to LED status displays, so employees can immediately work with the Zebra ZD420 without cost-intensive training. Comprehensive operating aids are available at all times: By coupling the label printer with an NFC-enabled mobile device, you can directly access the Zebra knowledge database with instructions and video tutorials. The innovative Zebra software solutions Link-OS and Print DNA provide comprehensive tools to remotely maintain and manage any number of ZD420 label printers via the cloud.

The Zebra ZD420 desktop printers still fit into every company: The series is backward compatible and supports not only Zebra printer languages but also languages of other manufacturers. The ZD420 series offers USB 2. 0, Bluetooth, RS-232 connection, 10/100 Ethernet and 802. 11ac WLAN as required, making it easy to integrate the printers. Zebra ZD420 thermal transfer printer
Thanks to the thermal transfer printing process, the Zebra ZD420c and ZD420t produce monochrome, very durable prints on a variety of materials. Depending on the model, ribbon cassettes or ribbon rolls can be used.
The Zebra ZD420c with ink ribbon cassettes impresses with its fast and simple operability - the cassettes can be replaced by anyone with just one movement.
The Zebra ZD420t model series prints large quantities of materials with the same ink ribbon at particularly low cost. Costs can also be saved by intelligently supporting two different ribbon sizes: Since both 74m and 300m ribbons can be used, the automatically announced ribbon change is reduced by 75%!
Zebra ZD420 direct thermal printer
Thanks to its printing process, the Zebra ZD420d direct thermal printer does not require any additional consumables - monochrome labels are thus produced at particularly low operating costs. The Zebra ZD420d is extremely easy to use: By eliminating the need for ribbon cassettes or ribbon reels, only the thermosensitive label reels need to be replaced to ensure continuous label printing. This makes the Zebra ZD420d particularly suitable for environments in which speed and continuous operation are essential, such as at the POS. The particularly slim, compact and lightweight design for the ZD420 series allows the Zebra ZD420d to fit even the smallest areas.
Zebra ZD420 Healthcare specification
The Zebra ZD420c/d/t-HC models are made of disinfectant- and UV-resistant plastic and have a sealed key surface, making them particularly easy to clean and disinfect in hygiene-sensitive environments such as hospitals. The slim, compact desktop printers fit into the smallest of spaces - despite the optional security functions such as the locking function, with which valuable media such as recipe forms can be secured, or the Kensington® lock connection, with which the Zebra ZD420 can be permanently connected to tables! The operating time can also be adapted to the special requirements of the health care system: With Zebra Visibility Services, your printer can be proactively monitored to prevent critical downtime.
With the Zebra ZD420c-HC and ZD420t-HC you can print extra sharp labels, recipes and wristbands in a resolution of 300 dpi.
