Company anniversary: 10 years of All About Cards
All About Cards is celebrating its anniversary: the company was founded ten years ago, at August 1st 2005. A reason to look back – and of course to celebrate, too.
The company started as a distributor and specialist wholesaler of card printing systems and software. The managing director Karl-August Thiele and the authorized signatory Siska Thiele planned to offer the complete service concerning plastic cards and therefore extended the portfolio continuously. Today, All About Cards is one of the leading suppliers of plastic cards, chip cards, RFID media, software, systems and card packaging. The company realizes diverse large projects for national and international customers, starting from the entire customer loyalty program to the simple member card to the highly complex system for personal data collection.
Project management from A to Z
“We realized that the customer normally wants more than the mere card production. We offer project monitoring and management from A to Z,” says Karl-August Thiele. This contains for example the design of the layout, system integration, development of software, production of packaging, mailing, logistics and fulfillment. All About Cards supplies different federal authorities as well as internationally leading major companies, which are listed on the DAX or on the NASDAQ (see references). “Also because of our satisfied customers, we were able to grow continuously. We still try to have a continuous focus on quality and service”, says Thiele.
The company started with four employees, by now, All About Cards consists of 20 colleagues at the Passau location. An international production network also belongs to it.
New sales markets and digitalization
What are the plans for the future? Besides the sales focus on Germany, Austria and Switzerland, Thiele plans to position especially in the bordering European countries as well as in the Middle East and in Middle Asia. “During the following ten years, we count on further growth with a consequent expansion of the product portfolio regarding new products and services. Especially in the field of digitalization, we have already taken action and want to offer more,” says Karl-August Thiele. All About Cards has already developed an App and an online shop for digital gift cards. Regarding the topic “digitalization”, the company also offers PDF gift card systems and the integration of customer cards in an App.
