The Epson ColorWorks C3500 works with the Epson Precision Core print head technology, which uses the Micro PiezoTM printing process. Ink drops are pressed through the print heads via a piezoelectric crystal that deforms under electrical inpulses. Thanks to this Epson DuraBriteTM Ultra ink, the colour labels are not only more glossy and colour fast, they are also particularly durable: due to the fact that the ink dries directly, it does not smear, but remains on the surface and does not draw into the paper and fade over time. In addition, the Epson DuraBriteTM Ultra ink used is not water-soluble - the Epson ColorWorks C3500 can therefore also be used in hygienic and industrial environments.
